This recently won me 1st place in a chili cook off. Smile

Bean's Chili

2 lbs. Hamburger

2 Onions, chopped

2 Green peppers, chopped

Brown ground beef & onions, green peppers, drain fat and add these ingredients.

Steak, grilled & cubed (2 NY strips)

2 to 3 Jalapenos (or more)

1 Habanero

1 can diced green chiles

1 LG. bottle liquid Tabasco Spicy Bloody Mary mix

1 LG. can tomato sauce

1 can diced tomatoes

1 (heaping) t. dried peppers (hot pepper flakes)

6 to 8 T. chili powder

3 cans dark red kidney beans

1 can black beans or chili beans – if desired

Simmer 2 to 3 hours.

I love chili so I will be making this one soon. I cheat and start with Carroll Shelby's chili mix in the little brown bag.

Thanks for asking,We love Mexican, Itailian and good old meat and potato recipes. Hot sauce goes on everything but ice cream. Laughing

I spose I should post my cheesy potato recipe soon!

Yes, I've heard of Jalapeno ice cream, but I'm not so sure I'd like it... Confused
