If you are a New Haven pizza fan you know it's boat. You gotta have a great crust and a great sauce and it's hard to get a great sauce outside of New Haven, they have sauce down. Bottom line it's a tough call, but New Haven'ers know, it's in there DNA.

Sure if you go to New Haven you will need to check out Pepe's and Sally's but there are so many high quality pizza places in New Haven it is incredible...

Places like Modern, , Roseland, , and more!

You need to go to Connecticut and check out the pizza!

Simply amazing!

Here is a new website all about Connecticut Pizza:

I am not sure how one might separate the influence of one on the other - the crust, the sauce - since it is apparent that either one will complement the other, or vice versa, one will detract from the other.

It's the day and night, the sun and moon, the ying and yang, the elevator and shaft, the rain and shine, the soup and Oyster crackers, the Penn and Teller, the Cheech and Chong, the..... OK, you get my drift.

I think "boat" is the correct answer. Or as they say in Chicago, "bodavem."
