Ciao, Albert,
I'm not sure if this is a real email or a form letter, but I'm frustrated, so I'll take the chance.
I haven't made the dough yet because I want to buy a pizza stone first.
My problem is my oven; it is a new convection oven and it's small. I cannot find a good stone in the dimensions that will fit-- no wider than 12 inches.
I am reluctant to buy a stone on-line because if it arrives broken, I'll have to spend a fortune sending it back.
Any suggestions?
Marie

My response:

Hi Marie.

It is an email series, but I read all of the emails.

Here are some suggestions for you. You can use unglazed tile that you can purchase at a building supply store. They usually come in 12 X 12, so that will work.

OR: just use a cookie sheet. I made my pizza in a cookie sheet or pizza pan for years before I got a stone.

It will work OK....

Let me know how you make out.

piza on earth,

albert
